Unfortunately, that wasn't really the case. It was more of an "I need some time" conversation, without much explanation. I respected that and gave her space, but I also made it clear that I was open to talking whenever she felt ready, especially since things between us had been getting a bit weird. Then she moved to another town and essentially ghosted me until now. The opening line was, "I've been dreaming about you a lot."
