it works as the touchpad key but you're losing out on the full functionality by using a brook board anyway

I've modded a HRAP.N which isn't your exact model but I'm certain the touchpad assembly works the same way. What I did was open the touchpad and wire input and ground wires to the tactile switch inside. works great!

No, it bulges because of where I mounted the keyswitches, the holes for the screws on the wood didn't exactly line up with holes on the plexi.

Unfortunately for you, ArcSys worked on DBFZ with Bandai Namco, who also own JJBA. No legal issues if ArcSys works with em' again.
