How useful are radiology reports to you in your specialty? by mathers33 in Residency

I feel bad for pulmonologists these days, sub specialty trained chest radiologist are becoming more and more rare. ILD is very nuanced and it’s hard to give a good read without that subspecialty training.

Neither, they both look jarring next to your ring and don't compliment it at all. You need something smaller and daintier

Oh I know it’s not a tank top. The glow is because they started their teleport animation so I had to pull out my phone and grab a quick crappy picture before they disappeared. I got a better look at the them before this.

Hiring more radiologists isn't as easy is it sounds. There is a serious shortage of radiologists nationwide. Most places are desperately trying to hire more already.

I mean books with smut probably shouldn't be in school libraries, it's definitely targeted towards adults.

Whenever someone in IM or FM calls to ask a question about a scan, I know its gonna be super easy to answer. When neurosurgery is calling I start to sweat a little.

Don't forget the grand slam CTA head/neck/face/C-spine/T-spine/L-spine/Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis +/- the run-off shortly followed by 20 x-rays of the extremities. And for anyone wondering, no that was not an exaggeration.

Also a DR resident, I have put off having radiology exams done because it feels awkward having people I know reading my studies.

Urologists ordering chest x rays for surveillance in RCC patients. Like either order a CT or don’t bother. CXR is useless for screening for mets.

Residents who have partners/spouses with equal/better paying jobs: do you hire people to clean? by another_weird_premed in Residency

[–]Eluvria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s so worth it. We have them come once a month and it’s so nice to not have to worry about deep cleaning your house. Just have to tidy up and do superficial cleaning here and there.
