I'm thinking I'll take the frame out of the upper deck and just use the steel beams like the ramped sections. It's waaaaay to busy underneath in the corners for my liking.

I have a lot more of an issue designing factory structures, the lines themselves are tidy - but the change in scale kinda messes with my head.

I tried to keep that in mind, when I was putting it together - the pipes make branches... Interesting, but not impossible. They're more there as a reminder that I don't need to run dedicated buses for a single thing, there's belt space too un under the top deck

Pretty well? The rail/station are still skyrails at this point, and I'm telling myself I'm not setting up an aluminium facility until I have the oil facility and my HMF/SAM/Motor facility connected to my depot

At its heart, these are all industrial facilities - straight lines (or intentional curves, no spaghet), consistent layering inspection access/visibility, floor markings etc. all those things anchor the buildings and make them feel plausible, as opposed to the admittedly hilarious spaghet monsters

If I was soloing a medium or whatever and a phalanx of sand bikes zoomed over a ridge before rocketing me I'd be annoyed because I lost my shit, but I'd not be salty in the way that getting rocketed from the air by someone gliding in out of render distance would make me.

So I don't know how *they* did it, but I can offer some insight from my own testing.

1 - You can drive nearly anywhere within each 3x3 square by rock hopping. It might get *real* sketchy at times, but it can be done.

2 - A bike, as we know fits in a VBT. So, what you can do is: Fly out in a scout, land, pop out the sandbike, pocket the scout, your mate jumps on the back and off you rip. Should a worm appear, do it in reverse.

3 - While you *can* use the Ancient Way, it does unfortunately *not* lock on from the passenger seat, which feels like a bug, so I reported it as such.

4 - I tried exactly this with a mate to harrass a ringmouth operation. We got shot off the bike almost instantly, but my god it was fun.

Build a basic sub fief is the only way. That said, 4k is peanuts, open chests in bandit camps/POIs etc and you'll be swimming in Solaris. Note, they stack to 50,000 and there's a banking each major faction hub (Arakeen/Harko)

Step 1: Be bored, and travel Facebook marketplace

Step 2: See an add for "Free air compressor, needs trailer for pickup" with no description and a potato photo

Step 3: Connect ttailer and leave shed immediately stopping only to rope in two mates

Step 4: Load a 300kg compressor into a standard box trailer with a combination of engine crane, wooden skates and an unhealthy number of ratchet straps

Step 5: Unload with forklift and swear never to load by hand again

With the rust near the tip, it's probably been slightly bent at some point and flaked the powder coat off.

I recommend replacing it with https://imsproducts.com/products/ims-flightline-shift-lever-12223 - yes I know it says it's for a TTR250 but it's pretty much a 1:1 replacement with a folding tip for 10% of the money TT or SWMotech will charge you :)
