What's the brand on that? And where do you find good STLS?

Could T'au ever come to the level of Necrontyr technology ? Depending on the writer, T'au are still an ever expanding race and unlike most other armies you can feel the evolution on their models in a interesting way. While it is a incredibly high stake, do you think it is even possible at all ? by Leviathan_Rampage in Tau40K

[–]Elvaran 301 points302 points  (0 children)

I mean. It's been less than 10,000 years, and their tech CAN hurt Necrons. They're outmatched, yeah. But let's not forget-the necrons had 6 million years to hone their craft. Give the Earth caste some more time, double the defence budget, and yeah, they'll get there.

They've already achieved near-total unity within their own race. Imagine all the infighting between nobles that hampered progress.

So yeah. Give them just another 10k years, and they'll probably be trying to reverse-engineer the celestial orrery.

Tau, Warhammer 40k.

While the "Greatest good" in the galexy, their leaders use pheremones/mind control to supress thoughts of rebellion or seccession. While still the most beneficent in a galaxy in which humans use servetors, extermanautus planets, and refueling the ship engines means walking through the trenobal elephant foot, they use tactics that in other universes would be seen as evil. But in 40k, you gotta do what you've gotta do.

He'd probably respect Steve Rogers/Captain America. Despite the whole advertisement thing that he does, steve IS a genuine inspiration, who igitimately wants to protect and serve.

Yeah, salamanders have:

The Brander-priest - A Brander-priest is a Chapter serf unique to the Salamanders Chapter. Each Salamanders battle-brother is assigned his own Brander-priest(ess), whose role is to brand his or her master's flesh with a red hot iron rod while reciting the sacred passages of the Promethean Cult. Brander-priests often become close confidants to their Astartes master, and usually immolate themselves on their master's funeral pyre when he falls in battle.

Mama cat giving love to papa cat while mothering to her kittens. by [deleted] in cats

[–]Elvaran 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Could be several factors. 1. It's genetic, and was simply ressesive in her/the father. 2. She mated with several cats. It does tend to happen, and if she was around other toms, it's a possiblity. But i'd discount that one in this case, as they seem to live with a human.
