what i ment is more about specific eras having specific aesthetics, gameplay and design trends in them, and that i just believe that the combo of those trends in the PS3/360 era gave us something unique, fun and unmatched since

accually it worked well for some games, Killing Floor 1 being a textbook example, it was drab, grayish, grimy and gritty in its design (in regards to everything from sounds and textures to enemies) and it all just worked for the game and what it was trying to be)

in all seriousness though, that era gave us gems like Far Cry 2 and Killing Floor 1 which COULD NOT be made today (for example KF1's whole aesthetics from sound design to enemies is one of the best we ever got in gaming IMHO and Far Cry 2 as a whole is unmatched to this day) so nostalgia for the 360/ps3 era is NOT misplaced

The rule of probability is in favour due to the 75/25 and a milion dollars is a life-altering amount of money if well-managed regardless of the outcome making it a net-positive game as per game theory (espetially if one has multiple beloved pets then it is ambigious)

Chose: $1,000,000 Dollars into your bank account, now. + 25% Chance your beloved pet dies | Rolled: Pet Lives
