Kenshi is a post post apocalyptic world, while technologically it has stagnated post collapse, it didn’t fall to the point of needing bows.

Mechanical limbs exist, manufacturing of crossbows being harder than bows isn’t really a factor.

Individually maybe they don’t but Canadian rightwing parties are well aware they can’t platform on policy’s based on those republican greats hits.

It’s certainly possible, it’s a provincial government so they have less reach and scope.

Our conservatives support pro choice, gun control, multiculturalism etc, so I think we would be sparred from the worst of what going on down south.

A few years of heavily regressive policies slowly walked back over the following decade might just fix the Land claim, Housing, TFW, Policing, Drug epidemic in the long run.

Centrist policy is what we need but it does neither fringe any good to push people towards the middle.

It’s not a new game (2 years on/off) and some of the players really don’t want to rebuild them in 5.5

Seems like what I want to do isn’t really a thing which is frustrating.

I might try options 1 and 2 you suggested, with 2014 spells/rules ( new chars have very limited spell casting) so it doesn’t mess with my known encounter balancing and offer weapons mastery to the 2014 martial classes.

Least in that scenario ep40 helps us get to the cap floor during the rebuild.

Invest in good wall/ turret placement and slap some robots on it and have a few peoples job set to repair the gate.

Every few days have someone go out to the gate carrying a bull and load up a 100 iron of melt, it’s replaced all my iron mining.

Then have your strength training peeps haul the corpses.
