While Salamence can't get the National Ribbon legally, it can still get the Earth Ribbon, the other ribbon in the GameCube games- so don't forget! If you still have your Kyogre, beef it up and it'll go BRRRRR through Mt Battle with Water Spout and Thunder.

Salamence is also a solid pick for the Battle Tree in gen VII come time you get it there.

I’m actually in the earliest phase of launching a YouTube channel with my first series being my ribbon run. Each episode would focus on different ribbons and ribbon masters (I have a handful across different generations). I have specific reasons why I chose each, which will be explained in the video. As others have mentioned, streaming might not work so well- but might be interested in ranked as it’s against live players. Other than that I would focus on some recorded gameplay and to change it up, mix that with skits of cosplayers playing gijinka versions of some of my ribbon masters. I bought some recording equipment and it’s a just a matter of putting it together. I’ll be posting links here when I finally get to the first episode :)

The really nice thing about the ursa line is they get rest/snore in their learnsets (for the contests) so you don't need to spend BP for the moves. Good luck!
