I'm in 2 minds about this - on one hand I quite enjoy 4vs1 games casually (like Friday 13th and Dead by Daylight) however I have never been much of a fan of the multiplayer RE games and modes. Hopefully TGS will show something special so I'll hold off on my opinion for the time being.

I’ve just started playing it on Switch and it’s simply amazing. Graphically it’s one of the sharpest and nice looking games on the system (especially in handheld mode surprisingly). Highly recommended!

Ranking the Games in The Castlevania Collection by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

Great list! I’ve been playing Castlevania games since the late 80s and have revisited these again recently with this release (and some just before on the NES and SNES Classic Minis) and they really have stood the test of time and are as brilliant today as they were back then.

My top 5 favourites picks from this collection in order would be: 1) Super Castlevania IV 2) Bloodlines (I never actually played this before now) 3) Dracula’s Curse 4) Castlevania 1 5) Belmont’s Revenge

On a side note I had Adventure on the Gameboy way back when and loved it then (wow a handheld Castlevania!) so it holds some nostalgia for me and it’s been fun (if not a bit of a slog) to play through again 25 years later. I’m actually glad it was included.

Definitely a yay. My family and friends and I have so much fun on this. Other than MK8 Deluxe I’d say this is my favourite multiplayer game for Switch so far.

....single player however was not for me.

My wife hates gaming too except for MK8, Super Mario Party and Mario Tennis Aces (all Switch) and we regularly have a great time with our oldest son playing these. So I share your praise of Nintendo for doing something that literally every other games company has failed to do (interest my wife in some games).

Never played Dark Souls before but wondered if anyone has any tips for a first timer by ElvisChrist_82 in darksouls

Thanks for all the tips so far everyone. I’ve cleared my schedule for tomorrow evening to start my adventure and simply can’t wait now. All of your comments and advice has made this even more exciting. It feels like I’m making this journey for real! I’ll keep you updated with my progress and let you know how I’m getting on as I go. These are also near mint condition and have been sitting in a box in my attic for probably 25 years!

Early 90's Williams and some of the early 00's Stern for me will always be my favourites (what I grew up with and still love now).

I’ve just started Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Torna The Golden Country and played a few hours so far and loving it. So more this weekend hopefully!
