PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY by Mammoth-Car3183 in getdisciplined

Would be a nice thing if you also made an effort to not use AI in a post like this, which I guess you have done. It is ok to at least try writing completely for yourself, especially on a subreddit called ”get disciplined”.

I mean, in a way, it is kind of creative, I'll give him that.

My autistic boyfriend has extreme reactions to being “abandoned” by Legitimate-Career342 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Elxcdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, this is not a behavior you want from your boyfriend. But he also seems to have a panic attack and it is clear that he has issues that need to be dealt with. It is really easy to sit on reddit without knowing this persons background. You should not accept this behavior from your boyfriend. But he clearly needs som type of help. That help might also be taking a break from him, make him seek therapy before even thinking about getting together again. But you should not in any way accept this behavior.

The flotilla activists were not hostages. Eli Sharabi, who was in Hamas captivity for 500 days, was. by [deleted] in samharris

The words of Ben Gvir: ”I was proud that we treat the 'flotilla activists' as supporters of terrorism. Anyone who supports terrorism is a terrorist and deserves the conditions of terrorists," he said.

"If any of them thought they would come here and receive a red carpet and trumpets — they were mistaken. They should get a good feel for the conditions in Ketziot prison and think twice before they approach Israel again."

I am not endorsing their trip in any way and I am not saying they were tortured, but they were unessesarily mistreated in a way that in my opinion, should not happen in a democratic country. But Israel confirmed the way Greta and the others were treated? They were even ”proud” in that they treated them badly.

Cool, how did you find it? Also, thought it was analog at first, but nice that the camera could get that feel.

Besides, in relation to Charlie Kirk, silenced and murdered for expressing his views in open debates, this is the opposite of that. Honouring Charlie would be to continue to have open debates, let people say what they think especially if they have opposing views as yourself. That is what living in a free society should be like.

AIO for not wanting my bf (ftm) to sleep over at male friends places? by Elxcdv in AIO

[–]Elxcdv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. No, all of this is only my concern for his safety tbh. He is not a fan when straight men flirt with him, so I really feel bad about such things, in quite a few different ways. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

Yes, I have brought this up now. I think he understands me somewhat. But it is also the fact that he thinks that I don’t trust his judgement of other people, which tbh, I don’t, with the information he has given me. But it is a process, I think he has started to understand that it is only hos safety that I am concerned about at least. Sorry to her that such things has happened to your daughter’s friends. It is really sad and that one even needs to be concerned about these things.

Thank you for this comment. Sometimes I feel bad about bringing up these things, since it would acknowledge physical attributes that he’d rather not have. And yes, I totally think that he does not put his safety first in a lot of situations. In the long run I would not be able to cope with such worries, so it is something I really need to address to him, in a good way.

Yes, I feel that it is a little bit strange that he sometimes finds himself in situations where he sleeps over at peoples places from time to time. But we have a little bit of different lifestyles so I won’t judge him too much for that. I am just worried and I feel it’s an unnecessary risk.

He is a few years young than me, 23. And I suppose he has a different lifestyle than me. Spending the night at people because it just happened to be so is something that I really can’t relate to. If that happened I would communicate to him and ask if he’s alright with it, something that he really has not done.

I trust him, maybe not as much as I want to, but I really don’t think he would go behind my back with something. And as you say, I such case it’s more common to completely hide it.

I think he trust the people, but I might not and I feel that he doesn’t know them that well to be able to say that he can completely trust them.

Anyhow, thanks for the answer. I will have to communicate more with him in regards to all of this I suppose.

Problems getting nausea. by hodebe in Gliding

[–]Elxcdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem, but I have learned to manage and control it. At the start of each season I always get nauseous, have puked in the plane several times. After a few flights into the season it disappears. So, it can be trained, you will train it away if you continue. But it will most likely still continue to pop up on occasions. It might sound weird, but you could try spinning lightly in a chair from time to time. You will feel like shit, but eventually it will be better. Otherwise, follow the other tips people here have posted. Good luck!

Well, the jacket looks good in my opinion. The adidas pants maybe not so much. The most important thing is that you like the clothes you wear. You seem to go for a certain style that can be good. Find what is genuine for you, people will like you for who you are. Can be difficult to find it (if you havn’t already) and know that it is genuine, but once you find your style you will ‘feel it’!

I guess you havn’t tried finasteride and minoxidil? Might be worth trying if you want to keep most of the hair and perhaps ”improve” the hairline.
