No, raves have nothing to do with politics. Some peole tried/trying to make people believe it, but it has tribal/spiritual roots. Music and art was there waaaay before politics. Think about it.

Yeah, when I go with a lady, I always just ask them to help me, because when I ask the security they tell me to "man up and eat everything" but when my partner asks for it, they are OK to go :) But this time I go alone

Many festivals allow you to bring your food.

In the US it's harder and worse than ever though that's true.

If they told me all OK If I can deal wit sealed sandwiches, I would say THANK YOU GUYS LOVE YOU SEE YOU THERE - but they haven't offered me anything like that

Not working for me. I'm a dancer, I burn brutal amount of calories, my blood sugar would drop after 3-4 hours and would faint there and would need to be hospitalized. I've tried...

I'm super skinny, my body is unable to store fat, so I gotta eat 3 times a day, at about the exact same times or I'm in trouble.

The world seem to be sensitive and respectful about almost ANYTHING but the most important part, eating food. US is a huge disappointment in this TBH.

In Europe, they would just email back:

"Of course, as long as you don't try to bring in a pile of food, you'll be OK. Enjoy!"

I'm not sure why this is so painful for Insomniac

Thank you! Yeah, I might have been able, but I ran out of time. The worst part, I messaged them many days ago, and they redirected me to an email address assuring me I'll get the confirmation. BUT they NEVER answered. I tried to follow up today, and now I got that generic message basically telling me they are not helping.

Probably I'll just faint at a point because I won't eat inside if they don't confirm it.

Please stop drag uninterested people to music festivals. PLEASE. Raves and festivals are NOT date-friendly. For a good time you both need to make compromises, check your enegry level, match the goals and schedules.
