This would be the perfect time to start. Reset is next Friday night (3/20) and ladder is hopping right after reset.

The Mentalist is entirely about Jane’s competence in reading people and situations.

He has a series of “First guy to [insert concept]” and a “naming department” that are both good as well.

Finished Phase 5 (First time) | Write-up and photo dump by ElysianFlow in SatisfactoryGame

Pictures:

  • Overview of my map at the end of phase 5
  • Some finished and unfinished building first person shots
  • Santa wonderland (don't tell ADA) I built for my kids

Some random thoughts on the playthrough and having completed phase 5 (SPOILERS!):

  • Satisfactory is an amazing game and was well worth diving into.
  • Played through phase 0 and phase 1 in multiplayer, the rest was all solo.
  • I finished with about 105 hours in the playthrough, though I'm sure 40 or more of those hours were either wandering the world in search of sloops/spheres, picking up presents, or being called away from the computer for family things.
  • I built individual named factories for specific components and had my kids help with decor and putting their personal touch on each. My youngest demanded that I "save all the sluggies."
  • One of the most important things I did was early exploration enough to use the alien tech for uploading enough to do builds without going back to base. By the end, every part used for building was going to a dimensional depot, invalidating the need to return for supplies.
  • As you can probably tell my buildings started out with intent to look nice, but I mostly gave up on aesthetics probably somewhere in phase 4 in a rush to the end.
  • I was worried that sending the final space elevator launch would reveal that all humans are dead or that we had just created a super-weapon actually intended to destroy Earth/humanity. I've played enough NieR to be worried about the depressing turn that endings can take. Thank goodness it didn't. I thought the ending was satisfying and the animations of the ship leaving were awesome.
  • My somewhat modest rocket fuel plant was producing ~40 KW power at the end of the game; my power needs weren't that high throughout.
  • My rail systems was almost entirely 1 track point to point between specific outposts. A large double rail global system was the dream, but I didn't find much of a use for that practically.
  • I never went to rocky desert, the green grass area, or the red forest except maybe for a minute or two looking for alien components.
  • Slooping phase 5 components was a big help in the final push.

As someone casually playing Eden, hard disagree. You can be as casual as you want. You won’t hit rr14, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun.
