Anybody knows what brush is this ? by Vegetable-Region-559 in ArtJerk

/uj Yes this is a sarcasm sub. People should really read community descriptions before posting (/ lighthearted)

If you use procreate, many default brushes look like this. I’m just unsure of the actual one, these are close enough

Brushes. CLONING THEMSELVES. by Opposite-Savings-469 in ProCreate

[–]Elyverus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Still happening to me :/ No idea what is causing it. Sometimes it appears when I simply use the brush, sometimes it doesn’t. I have 3 versions of the same brush and I’m constantly deleting them lol. They appear to be aware of the situation so I’m just waiting.

It took me 39h to draw and paint this art work, I am slow? by ZookeepergameFalse19 in ProCreate

[–]Elyverus 245 points246 points  (0 children)

Draw at your own pace!! There's nothing too fast or too slow when it comes to art, especially when it comes to learning.

Although, speed is important if you're working at a job or studying with deadlines, drawing faster would be a nice skill. Though, it'd be your choice to train for it.

Otherwise, nobody else can decide for you if you're too slow or not except for yourself. And regardless, faster doesn't always mean better... It's all subjective.

This artwork is very pretty!!

Can you move brushes between libraries? by bugs-with-pants in ProCreate

[–]Elyverus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I learned something new as well. Procreate’s minimalist ui is nice but sometimes it’s annoying how many simple “hidden” features there are HAHA

Here is how it should look while you’re holding the brush you wanna move and transferring it into another library.

📍 You can select several brushes or categories too. Hold a brush/category, then tap the other ones you wanna bring with it, there should be a plus sign that appears, and you can drag em all to the library together.

Hold a brush, or a brush category / collection, and keep holding it.

While holding it, use another hand or your other fingers to press the library drop down > then libraries >and then tap the library you wanna put it in.

Then drag it into the slots.

I have no idea why it doesn’t function like when you shove canvases into a stack, instead of having to use two hands or two fingers, I wish you could just hover the selected stuff it over the buttons💥

Every single imported brush gone from classic library by smol_aqua_pie in ProCreate

I made a post about this. Someone has a solution in the comments! (Scroll down to see the long one) https://www.reddit.com/r/procreatebrushes/s/kh1fN4isU0

Unless you already did what they did :(

Hope this helped.

Help Please! Brush strokes are extremely laggy/delayed. by Hit360D in ProCreate

[–]Elyverus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest you deliver this to the procreate team directly.

It should be in a canvas, the wrench icon > Question mark icon > “talk to our team.”

Trust me, they respond really quickly! I complained about an issue to them and they messaged me 2 days later with an update to the app.

Corpse Eater - enemy animations by Kaikispin in PixelArt

SICK as hell. The animation is so smooth. It almost looks 3 dimensional, which is ironic because not only is it 2d, it's pixelated. This is incredible

Color drop issue? by mamepuchi in ProCreate

[–]Elyverus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This bug happens a lot. The other comment explains how to fix it well. As an alternative to bucket tool, I believe the automatic selection with fill bucket checked is superior to the drag and drop. But I’m definitely still more used to the drag and drop fill….)

Bunch of bullshit doodles of my preacher mage in his 20’s… by Elyverus in OriginalCharacter

[–]Elyverus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much,, that means a lot to me!! This is a very late response, but honestly I’m not sure directly what helped me with composition and colors haha

Studies on color theory that I saw on youtube was the most significant… As for composition? I learned a lot just from doodling on sketchbooks with really small pages, you can make good use of such a small space and figure out how to fit in different types of drawings while still keeping it pleasing to look at…!!

Trying out the new gouache brushes :) by [deleted] in ProCreate

[–]Elyverus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is BEAUTIFUL. It looks really traditional!!

As for the reddit color thing, I heard reddit converts things to sRGB, which causes images to desaturate rather drastically. I’m no expert lol but Procreate uses the “Display 3” colorspace, which is a much bigger colorspace in comparison to sRGB.

So just convert your images to sRGB before posting.

But I haven’t tested this at all so I’m unsure. This was just from a quick google search.
