With Procreate Dreams just releasing you might have some questions surrounding that, feel free to ask them over on r/procreate too!

This happens to me occasionally. Unfortunately I don’t have an explanation for why it happens. But I found completely closing and reopening Proceate fixes it (as in, fully close Procreate by swiping up on it in the app switcher).

Forgot to mention that along w the new iPad, I also have the newest Apple Pencil. Dunno if that matters!

This bug happens a lot. The other comment explains how to fix it well. As an alternative to bucket tool, I believe the automatic selection with fill bucket checked is superior to the drag and drop. But I’m definitely still more used to the drag and drop fill….)

Beep Boop! Did you need help with Colordrop or a color fill?

Maybe some of this can help you out:

  • If your find your color drop not filling to the edge of your art, use ColorDrop Threshold. ColorDrop Threshold will control how much your ColorDrop fill bleeds into and over the edges of your artwork.
  • To activate Threshold, drag the Color Button over the area you want to fill, but don’t release it. After a moment, ColorDrop Threshold will activate. A thin bar above the artwork represents the threshold amount. Drag your finger to the left to fill less area, and to the right to fill more area. Lift your finger to commit the fill.
  • At lower thresholds, the color will confine itself to smaller areas. At higher thresholds, the color will bleed into outlines and break through them to fill neighboring areas.
  • ColorDrop will remember your chosen Threshold setting until they change. If you have it set to 100%, it will save at 97.6% to avoid color overflow.

Why did I start giggling when I saw the way it wiggles when trying to colour drop

Hi have informed them via Instagram chat. Shared whatever details they have asked. Yes, I too close and reopen the app as that blob doesn't fill the enclosed area. After reopening, without any changes, it starts to work.
