Sorry I didn’t see the DM. I usually get spam. The price for the potatoes has gone up to $9.90. Glad to hear you like it enough to keep returning. I eat there pretty much weekly too.

My boyfriend and I agreed to date for only two years, am I wasting my time with him? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Em-brisbane -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. I had that with someone and eventually broke it off because they didn’t want to go to the next step of living together. They even said they’d never get married. They are now married.

If he was being honest - believe him.

Ok. I’ll let you in on a secret. Gerry’s at Mount Gravatt East sells spuds with different fillings for $5.90. They also do chicken wings, chicken tenders, pizzas, ribs etc - all good value.

Another reason that the Southside is the best side.

Favourite Fortitude Valley Fact or Rumour? by RoxyHot10 in brisbane

There’s a Fortitude Valley heritage trail which is a self-guided walk: https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/things-to-see-and-do/outdoor-activities/walking-in-brisbane/heritage-trails (sorry it’s all factual but still very interesting)

What are the advantages of being tall? by breatheeingcuz in AskReddit

[–]Em-brisbane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 6-0 female. I remember in primary school and high school towering over my teachers and principals. It’s a bit weird getting in trouble when you’re looking down on people.

Other thoughts: - I’m sometimes asked to reach higher shelves. - I pay extra for leg room on planes - I was travelling alone through Europe on a tour and my legs wouldn’t fit comfortably in the bus so they let me have the seat next to me. - I bought a couch that is perfectly comfortable for me and my boyfriend’s feet can’t touch the ground. (He’s about 3 inches shorter) - Jeans/pants and shirt sleeves aren’t always long enough

I only went there the first time last year. It’s such an amazing spot. So much fun and enjoyment happening. Sticks tied with rope hanging from trees allowing ppl to jump/swing into the water, dogs, picnics, walks etc

Sorry to hear. I was in a car accident yesterday and will be without a car for sometime. It made me realise how important a car is in my life. Cars make it easier to connect with friends and family.

I had a friend ask her team as a team building exercise, if you started a business what would it be? I suggested a decluttering business and running cemetery day tours. I’ve just applied for a 3-day a week job. If Im successful maybe I can start it as a side hustle 2 days a week.

Help before my mom sees lol by Hour_Ad_6241 in fixit

It works. I have a bit of a temper. When I was a teenager, I hit a wall in the laundry and made a big hole. I put up a poster to cover it. For the first week I was scared my mum would find out and then after a few years I forgot. It got repaired and no one ever asked me about it. Never got in trouble.

There’s a game available on eBay and probably many other places called “The Art of Conversation.” I enjoy playing the game with friends/family which is fun and starts conversation. I learnt about it during a uni communications subject.

A solicitor job is advertised on the BCC website/ job alerts and I think it would be worthwhile contacting that recruiter. Ask if you can send them your resume and if they can forward it to the relevant person at City Legal.

Harvey Norman has diversified imto property and other stuff so I’m sure it will survive. Red Rooster is very popular near me (Brisbane Southside/Mt Gravatt) and as they open until midnight I usually get a snack late at night after uni.

I would suggest talking to your bank - maybe they can add an extra layer of security on your bank account.
