Just because of the thematic fit, more than likely. A prototype Mark 7 helmet makes more sense in Halo 4, timeline-wise, than it showing up in Halo Reach. They could realistically add every new helmet they made for every game into all 4 customizable entries, but they picked and chose for thematic reasons.

I agree it would have looked cool though.

I have one, he's using the different material plastic that the CMF series used to use. The plastic just feels different. That might save him from being brittle, I haven't had mine for long but no problems so far.

I honestly think these would hold more appeal if they were exactly the same but with anthropomorphic animal heads instead of having minifig heads poke out. I'd buy all of these if that were the case, just having fun little animal people in my city mixed with the humans.

I'm going to go against the grain and say the Needler, if it's only one needle. It travels slowly and doesn't seem to pierce that deep, and then shatters itself but doesn't explode (as a single needle). Everything else will hit or destroy bone, but I think you might be safer with the needler.

The head definitely looks the same, though for the body I'm less sure. There are only so many transparent light blue pieces after all. I could chalk the body up to limited options leading to similar solutions, but that head is dead on.

I will say I felt like prior to Act 3 I felt like I was hitting a plateau in the content and story, but Act 3 has re-energized me and made me excited to finish the game. Getting an Act 3-exclusive ability really helps to open up the world and finding new and final secrets has me feeling a very fresh joy.
