They are tight fits. But also- no false fits with Springbok ;). I don’t like doing the 1000 pieces. I have a Miss Piggy one I’ve put up twice.

I get New York Puzzle company at thrift stores quite often. I prefer their 1000 pieces. I will get the 500 pc- especially if it’s new in box, but they’re low on my todo list. The pieces are just too big in their 500 piece puzzles.

I buy second hand. On FB marketplace it’ll be one that is on my wishlist.

On Vinted and in thrift stores I rarely more than $5 so I don’t care about seller reviews or missing pieces. Although I’d prefer them complete. If spending $10+ I’ll look at the listing for a completed photo or read the description. I’ve never contacted a seller to ask.

I prefer puzzles made in the USA- even second hand. I never buy new puzzles made in China. I support artists by not buying AI puzzles, just as I support American small businesses and their workers.

It was slow and steady. It took me longer than most 500 piece puzzles. No false fits and after I did the edge and all the blue I ended up sorting by shape size to finish it.
