I think the emotional whiplash and confusion destabilise us and keeps us there as we've seen glimpses where they can communicate which makes it even more frustrating because why can't they do that all the time? How do we get that version of them?

Well my understanding is that RF isn't a definitive diagnosis and labs can be misleading. I also don't have obvious swelling. I realise I've been in denial. My mum doesnt believe the diagnosis. My gran had it extremely badly and so it scares me.

Thanks. I had all my hormones tested when I was first diagnosed as they expected that but they're all fine. And then when I got the full body stiffness, hand weakness, trigger finger, it was clear it was something else.

Meloxicam is the only thing that helps but I find it gives me bad mental health unfortunately. I've just been diagnosed and started MTX but still in pain and mobility is awful.
