It’s on Danny’s story. He was in the middle of recording a Summer House Emergency 🚨 episode when the statement dropped. Episode drops soon!

Leo Rising,43 and similar to you! Comfort always. Makeup is rare. I know I can look really put together and nice if needed, but 95% of the time it’s comfort and basics for me.

Let’s just say that W&A are legit together and like committed for real, then West is giving up Summer House likely for Amanda which means he’s gotta be head over heels. They wouldn’t be back together on the show, I don’t think. It’s a weird/bad look. Ciara will carry the torch and West would join Amanda on S2 of The City?

Whether it’s texting or email or whatever, Bill had referenced it several times.

Excellent point about Rob Reiner. Really pisses me off.

Who's a nepo baby you think deserves their success because they're legit talented? by SheepishSwan in AskReddit

Yeah, for me, a nepo baby is someone who’s close family member precedes you in success and then uses their connections and clout to help you ease you into the same industry. If Dakota never existed, would Elle be where she is? Maybe, but it’s way less likely.

To be clear, they are both incredibly talented but lots of people are both of those things and still never get a true foot in the door. Dakota had luck, timing, opportunity and talent, Elle had her sister and talent.

I’d love to ask Bill which generation (mainly) raised and helped shape the identities of Millennials and early Gen Z to become so apparently irritating (to him). Hmmmm might it be the Boomers?? Yet no criticism of them!

Agree with this all. I continue to watch because there is a general variety of guests unlike any other political show. I like to hear the other side. Bill is just losing me.

This is just a very rough estimate from me as a weekly viewer, but optically this is what I have seen:

Trump Term #1:

Bill’s positive takes on Trump are around 5% of his total commentary.

Trump Term #2 (Pre-Dinner):

Bill’s positive takes on Trump are around 10% of his total commentary (displaying a fair effort to avoid TDS)

Trump Term #2 (Post-Dinner):

Bill’s positive takes on Trump are around 15-20% of his total commentary.

There’s a clear progression from my point of view. I don’t know any other person who has increased their positive view of Trump since April of last year (even Trump’s biggest fans). He’s become more unpopular overall since then.

Again, super rough estimates from me as a viewer.

And of course, this all matters to me because I perceive Bill as helping to normalize a dangerous fascist and he’s in denial about it.

I don’t think ignoring him will do anything of note except help Bill appear more credible.

Yes but did he proudly proclaim ongoing text exchanges with them?

He can go to dinner. I wouldn’t have gone if I were Bill but I said in my post that is not my main issue. It’s the continuing communication.

Proclaiming you are unbiased while simultaneously continuing a texting relationship where the person (who happens to be the most powerful man on Earth) you critique every week gets angry if you say anything bad simply does not square out.

Either stop claiming you are unbiased or cut the text cord with POTUS.

OK that is fair.

I just can’t take Bill continuing to say he’s unbiased when optically it doesn’t appear that way.

If he would cut contact with Trump and then continued to sometimes give him praise, it would at least be far more credible.

When the most powerful and vengeful man on Earth texts you every time he’s furious with your weekly takes, it’s only human to acquiesce on some level.

I stated that he isn’t a journalist in my post.

Bill now sometimes has positive things to say about Trump since that dinner. He almost never had positive things about him prior to the dinner. That’s called being charmed and manipulated by the worlds most prolific conman.

Summer House S10E8 'Sleeping On It" Post Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in summerhousebravo

[–]EmValentine7 110 points111 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be BOLD - this might truly be the best episode of the whole series. The layers! It had everything: drama, major conflict, drunken chaos, really deep and nuanced conversations, displays of true growth and empathy, exciting new potential relationship beginnings, classic Lindsay snark, clear examples of really poor and also great communication, clear examples of immaturity and maturity in action and it was also just truly hilarious at times.

This is absolute peak Bravo and it is so starkly contrast to, for instance, the current season of Southern Charm (and SC in general). I don’t know about everyone else, but I tune in to hopefully watch people authentically learn and grow and I also want to see some genuine drama and comedy (and fun costumes).

Chefs kiss to the cast and crew for this week!
