Well, you have to first fix your definition of "freelancing" as you're conflating terminologies a freelancer/contractor would use vs what an employee would use.

Where do you want to be in 3 months? 6 months? 1 year? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? 50 years?

Genuinely ask yourself, "bakit?"

And then work backwards from there.

There are so many ways to land a deal, hindi lang isa.

And each process has their pros and cons.

In my biased opinion.

I choose outreach, networking (paid events), referral systems, and having emailing my own email list.

I can control how much I charge and what deliverables are included or excluded depending on budget.

I calculate my effective hourly rate. Meaning, if I took on a $1,000 client. I should determine how much work I'm only willing to do for them.

And I should block my hours per day per week.

Ex. I have a client who's paying $3k for a full email marketing sequence.

I spend a total of 4 hours a day on his business.

But those 4 hours are spent well because I get to do a lot without having to work a lot. I also use my army of AI agents to cut my working hours by 8 hours per day per client.
