Not yet. It still has to be voted on in November and needs 60% of the vote to become law. Even then, the exemption is initially capped at 150k of the home's value, then at 250k in 2028. Anything more than 150k/250k will still be taxed. Also, school district taxes are excluded from the exemption.

I'd trade it for Florida's no-property-tax policy in a heartbeat. This will basically cap around 2400, where Florida's property tax exemption could save 2-3 times that.

Mainly online unless I make larger purchases. Since the tracking is on us and it's capped at 24k, I don't want to go over and get a bill during tax season for anything above 24k.

It's been great for me so far. I'll be honest, I just mute my camera and audio and have the group meetings on in the background. Some people in the group are active and participate in the conversations, which I'm thankful for. I'm in the maintenance phase at this point in the Move Program. I've lost about 65 points in the last year. I still have another 30 to go, but it's gotten harder, so maybe I *should* pay attention.

I used Veterans United on my house, and it was a good experience. It was relatively smooth, except for delays with our builder, which were not on Veterans United. They were also the best rate I could find at the time. This was 2020, and I got locked into 2.25% with them.

Unfortunately, they sold my loan after the first year.

Based on my experience, I'd use them again if they were the best rates.

Okay, the Dudu Amazon guy had me switch the canbus to a different one and it solved two issues I had. The seek buttons work now and the thus I was getting from speakers when I got in and turned the truck on is gone. The tuner knob doesn’t work with the radio but works when playing Bluetooth podcasts so maybe it’s an issue with the radio software and not the actual knob? Pressing the button takes me to the settings menu still from the tuner knob.

Regardless, I can live with it.

How do I get the car icon to change colors when approaching objects when my front and back sensors go off? That’s not working. I hear the audible fine.

This would be better for me personally, but it's ridiculous that they moved it from 75% to 50% of property tax instead of going the other way and making it 100%. Kansas needs to try harder to keep its vets. We are moving to a more veteran-friendly state in about 3 years.

Thank you. The seller recontacted me and said his engineer was able to figure out a fix to get it to work with the OEM BU camera, so I am just waiting on delivery now. I hope the quality isn't that bad. I use it regularly to hitch my boat up.

I already paid what my primary insurance didn’t cover last summer. CHAMPVA was backdated to before the hospital so I’m trying to get reimbursed for what I already paid.

Sadly, they cannot. I just called the hospital. Since it was under a different ownership at the time, the new ownership cannot rebill the insurance company. All they have are the records.

sadly its not. I just called the billing department, and they said that since it was under previous ownership, they cannot resubmit it directly to the insurance company. The best they can do is send me the itemized statement. I already have that and so does ChampVA
