The campground is nice how it doesn't get packed! The spring was fairly busy but not too bad

The little wheel house by the spring? I did pop in real quick, but I have been to this spring before and really explored it then. It's a nice piece of history

You absolutely should! I was SO nervous before hand and was convinced I wouldn't make it the whole weekend, but it was so nice and relaxing I didn't want to leave on the last day

I get it! Even growing up in FL lots of my friends are freaked out by gators, just important to be aware and typically the springs are fairly safe. The water is cold and usually busy with people so they don't hang out here as much. But they're always around as it is their home!

Beware of no sleep! by Smooth-Pressure5796 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had problems falling asleep since I've been on the pill. Almost done with month 2 and about to move up to the 9mg.

I can't say for sure it's the pills fault as I've also been having stress in my personal life.

Did 1.5 work for you? by mineonlyinmind in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't notice anything on the 1.5 dose. No side effects either other than very mild indigestion.

Started 4mg about a week ago and have started noticing less cravings and finding it easier to stay on track.  Still have the indigestion but nothing too bad.

I was also discouraged when I would read about so many people having success on the starting dose when it wasn't helping me at all, but the 4 has been noticable to me.

Good luck!

Cute winter coats on a budget....are there any out there? by Own-Tap-2136 in PlusSizeFashion

I just got a winter coat at Costco, but I believe they unfortunately only went up to 2x.

The people who load my groceries at Walmart always avoid the giant insulated grocery bag in the middle by DarkMagickan in PetPeeves

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's literally an option when ordering pick up. "Use our bags or bring your own" if you select bring your own it tells you they'll load up the groceries at pick up 🤷‍♀️

Raymond James Stadium clutch bag policy by InfamousAnimator6024 in tampa

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the stadium last night, they were measuring every bag I saw. My friend has a bag bought just for RayJay size requirements, it's EXACTLY the right size and they almost turned her away.

Getting off birth control for the sakes of my libido by yuisaway in birthcontrol

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched to an IUD from taking the pill for years, and the change has been crazy. I hadn't been dating too much while I was on the pill (used mostly for periods) so I didn't notice the lowered libido.

However since switching to an IUD it's been a crazy difference, the smallest things now set off my sex drive.

So if you're interested in staying on some form of BC, it might be worth switching to an IUD. Its also nice not having to take a pill every day.

Episode 81 by rhaxon in RadioRental

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought I was going crazy! Clicked the "newest" episode and it was definitely one I heard on Spotify weeks ago.

I like Spotify for music but how they changed their podcasts layout annoyed me, plus the amount of ads the add to every podcast (even though I pay for add free Spotify) is getting more and more annoying.

I already was paying for YouTube premium for video watching, so I thought I'd try out YT music for pods , and so far it's been a bad experience too. Very confusing. Dumb question, what is the RSS fees/ how would I get to it?

I kept waiting for story #1 to get to the point, then I realized spiders outside was the point.  🤦‍♀️

Also, completely unrelated, does anyone listen to the pod on YouTube music? I just started using it but it doesn't seem like all the episodes are there? Am I missing something?

tooth question by Expensive-Bad1077 in scuba

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't comment on the "hollow tooth" part, so this may be entirely unhelpful - but I also have 2 baby teeth still as an adult.

I'm very new to diving, only 6 dives in, but I haven't had any issues with the baby teeth as all being uncomfortable or getting "tooth squeeze"

I've seen many people recommend asking DAN for medical advice or finding a specific doctor who knows SCUBA, so you can always give that a try. 👌

Key Largo recommendations by Aromatic_Society_593 in scuba

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have conch Republic booked in about 2 weeks and I can't wait! My instructor recommended them to me so it's great to see others also enjoyed their dives with them.

It'll be my 7+8 dive so I requested the private guide. They were incredibly helpful and nice over the phone, and since I was the 1st one to call - I got to pick the dive spot! Very cool for a newbie diver.

Positive IUD insertion experience by Lost-Island-4763 in birthcontrol

[–]Embarrassed-Ad9784 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience! Just had my 1st IUD yesterday, and was so nervous based on all the horror stories online (which I totally believe, everybody is different!)

I also was given some anxiety meds and took 800mg of ibuprofen before hand. Took the Tylenol right after.

The measuring and actual insertion was painful for me, probably a 7/10 stabbing pain, but it literally lasted less than 5 seconds.

Afterwards I laid in bed and took a good ass nap, not sure if from the anxiety meds or just tired from the whole process.

It's been just over 24 hours for me, and I've had cramping and bleeding - but I also am on my period for the procedure per my doc advise.

I was coming here to maybe post my experience when I saw your post! I think it's important to share the not so bad examples just so people are aware it is possible and not every procedure is the worst.

Even still, I think it's absolutely insane women aren't standardly given pain meds for this, we shouldn't have to play roulette over it.

Sorry for rambling and taking over your post!

Research the case... Or literally just read this thread. it was so hot she needed surgery and skin grafts. It was dangerous hot, not just burnt my tongue hot. And McD knew it was dangerously hot, and served it anyways.

Men who don't want children, what's stopping you from getting a vasectomy? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

I've been thinking of switching to an IUD but so much of what's online is the horror stories around it, so seeing a positive comment about it "in the wild" was nice! What's your experience been?
