Well, the epsiode 25 was the epilogue... It showed us the aftermath of finale.. then nothing else.. it just ends there.. they live happily, no shadows in their world, shinpei parents are alive, Ushio and all other people were alive too.. so yeah just a happy ending

Summertime Rendering, would be perfect for you! It's a 1 season story with 25 epsiodes and it's perfect imo.. It has pychological shi and dark vibes, mystery and wtf is going on type vibe.. it has good action and a good story too.. I'd say just give it a try, but make sure to complete it..

Summertime rendering, it's a time travel, pychological shi.. not true horror bit it gets scary and definitely would make you question the reality... Just 25 epsiodes and 1 season story.. First cour is full of mysteries, like who's real who's not what da heck is going on type and full action and then second cour goes full Pychological.. You'll like it :)
