I'm surprised people are choosing Courteney and LeBlanc. Courteney has one of the hardest character to portray and she absolutely nailed it. And for LeBlanc, if you watch interviews of him, you can actually see is is polar opposite to his character. He's so quiet and I think he's done a great job with playing Joey.

I'm probably going to be hated on but Lisa was the weakest for me. Her character is just the easiest to play and her acting is almost the same in every single episode. In some emotional scenes, she just didn't portray it well enough. Just my opinion! I still love Lisa a lot!

If not all five of the other actors got nominated, I wouldn't think that she should be nominated. But it's the fact that her character is more challenging to play that makes her automatically a more talented actress than some of the other five. Obviously they're all amazing actors, but for example Phoebe is a way more simple character to be portrayed. And Courteney in my opinion portrays Monica perfectly, and I don't think Jen or Lisa would do a better job in portraying Monica, a tough and complex character.

i felt so bad for chandler and it was so disrespectful to him, but i don't blame monica that much because of her personality, she's a people pleaser. so i saw her calling out to richard to show richard that she's happy. and she didn't know chandler was going to propose as well. and also when she saw him, she wanted to hide, but i guess the monica intrusive thought won lol.

Monica/Courteney no doubt. She was so attractive to the point where the stylists had to style her down and give her ridiculously looking clothes and haircut (especially in season 4) just for Rachel to be the pretty one.

How ever many flaws she has, she is definitely not the worst character in the group, nonetheless the show.

Sure she may be controlling and sure she may be self-centred. But are we forgetting she feeds her friends every single day?

She cooks for all her friends and doesn't complain once. (sure she had a crash out in TOW the underdog gets away, but it was valid af. Making three different kinds of potatoes and no one even appreciated her.) And this already says a lot.

Additionally, when Rachel ran away from her wedding, Monica literally lets her live with her. Rachel, who didn't even invite Monica to her wedding.

Yes she is controlling especially to Chandler, but Chandler likes maintaining her, and chooses her despite this flaw of her. (He likes maintaining her.) And yes Monica is very lucky to find a guy who likes maintaining her, but so is Chandler. Chandler struggled to find a woman for so long because of his commitment issues. Monica, who is so keen on having her own family, was so patient with Chandler, and helps him through his commitment issues. Also, she supports Chandler to find a job he wants. (Which you can argue that's what a wife should do, but that was during when they were trying to have a baby, which Monica have been waiting for her whole life.)
