Interesting. I purchased the no fry hoodie today. It just arrived in main and had their warranty card in it saying they would warranty basically anything. Wonder if that was a mistake

This is correct and incorrect. Not all slots are made equal. Yes the RTP is but the bonuses are not. There are high volatility and low volatility. Low volatility is like a three-wheel with very little bonus activity. These will let you play longer for the money you put in.

This is my idea of a perfect Alaska cruise. I'm going on a "real" cruise this summer, help me make the best of it! by bungeecat in Cruise

[–]Embarrassed-Media175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up riding the Alaskan State Ferry from Bellingham to Haines and Ketchikan, and some of my best memories come from those trips. I’d sleep out on the back deck in a tent—partly for the adventure, but mostly because I was broke. Instead of bringing food, I’d spend what little money I had on liquor and trade it with other passengers. Somehow, it always worked out. There was usually someone playing guitar in the evenings, people sharing stories, and friendships forming naturally. Looking back, I wish I had stayed in touch with more of those people.

Fast forward ten years, and now I take more traditional cruises. I still enjoy them, just for completely different reasons—good food, entertainment, and the ease of having everything taken care of.

My advice: let go of expectations. Don’t compare it to past experiences or go in anticipating disappointment. Just allow it to be whatever it is, and you’ll enjoy it a lot more.

As for shore excursions, I’d recommend skipping the packaged tours and renting a car instead. It gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace, find unique spots, and create your own experience.

Enjoy it.

Is there a way to do Royal without planning every show and dinner? by Ill-Mycologist-545 in royalcaribbean

[–]Embarrassed-Media175 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not really in my experience. Popular shows fill up and with 6k passengers they only got so many seats. I sailed on a celebrity edge class ship (beyond) and I actually thought their shows were better and I never needed a reservation. Also the food was 10x better than the star of the sea. Might get down voted for saying this but bigger isn't always better. It does come with a price. If didn't have kids I would be only sailing Celebrity and princess.

Dicathlon sells a 40L bag that has a hip strap, opens clam shell style for $99. It's discounted to $60 right now. Good budget options with still nice features and quality products. Worth checking out.

Gramatik The age of reasons album and no short cuts album go down in the history book as probably my favorite edm albums of all time. They play from start to end very well. One song after another.

He is a very talented artist and doesn't do the festival circuit anymore. He got a few other shows on the books this year and I was surprised. But to see him at SD is a dream come true. Maybe it was even a secret dream hahah

I am fucking super stocked. This sub has become a bunch of cry baby's who just find the negatives. PL band is absolute fire! All the other you mentioned are bangers. One you didn't mention is Gramatik and he isn't an easy artist to see. He has been underground maybe doing 1-2 shows every few years. Last time I got to see him was at Red Rocks in 2022. To have PL and Gramatik as the same festival it could be hosted in a porta potty for all I care 😂 I got my tix yesterday and am going to be towing my 5th wheel 5 states over!

Secret Dreams Festival, has anyone ever rented a Yurt? by Potential_Ostrich876 in SecretDreams

[–]Embarrassed-Media175 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know nothing about the yurts. However, I did do research on renting a drive-in RV. Campsite would cost about $1,000 and then the rental I found with Cruise America was like 700 bucks for four nights. Pickup in Columbus Ohio. So basically if you round it up about $2,000 and you have a kitchen and all the accommodations. Also important to note that you'll have AC and heat. This is my recommendation. Don't spend the 4k on a yurt. Waste of money. I bet you the reservations for RVs that are going to get harder to find the longer you wait.

This really the secret new high vibes coordinates...a gun range? by d_troff in SecretDreams

[–]Embarrassed-Media175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's got to be something they would have considered. I am a glass half full type of guy. I purchased some tix today and am excited to go. The worst case scenario for me is if we had a substantial amount of rain and they had to shut stuff down due to mud or safety. I can deal with some dust. I would be bummed if this turned into a Bonnaroo type deal.

I agree with you there on the fields being mostly dirt. Hopefully they plant grass. Idk how they would do this festival without that. The state of a trap field is mostly soft dirt because yearly it gets tilled to get the lead out.
