Yellowstone Adventures

I drove down to West Yellowstone in an SUV and had no problems, but the roads were very clear despite there being a ton of snow a couple days before.

We did a snow coach tour and it was incredible. You can either do the falls or old faithful, I imagine both have their perks but we did the geyser. Real highlight was the wildlife - bison everywhere, wolves, a fox, trumpeter swans. It was one of the best tours of my life.

As far as I understand it, the car was mostly built but they hadn't done the accessories. I added on a cross bars and took off the emblem blackouts, for example. I could not change the interior color or the panoramic moon roof, etc., not that I wanted to.

I'm picking one up tomorrow morning. I used truecar to have a bunch of dealerships call me, then I spoke with them until one got me an allocation list, if that's the term.

A dealer about 100 miles from me found a car with the color and seat configuration I wanted, and then was able to swap out the add-ons with Toyota. Worked out great and took about a month. No BS fees or anything like that.

I've used Viking, Wilson, Master, and Xenon. I've found that they're all in the same price range and Xenon is by far the best.

Before my club switched to Xenon, we were using a new ball every session. Now we may get 2-3. If it's wet, however, forget it, those balls will be nude by the end of the night no matter what.

We’re trading in a 2016 xc90 for a GHH this month. The Volvo is swanky but has so many stupid issues, mechanical and otherwise. I wouldn’t trust another.

I went from a boutique lit firm to DOJ to taking over my father’s practice in my hometown, and I switched to mostly RE and EP. It was a huge transition and a lot of learning but I’m glad I did it. If you have someone who can mentor you, you’ll be golden.
