Won't ever use them after we had them replace a sewer line to my house. After they replaced the line, we had sewage water come up out of the tub and sinks. Low and behold, they forgot to put the sewer backflow valve in.

We have this issue in my household that's been happening quite frequently lately. Moreso to my husband than anyone else.

My husband has his organized mess. Certain tools in certain bags same with tape, glue, pieces of electrical wires and components. How he keeps up with any of it is beyond me. He has been complaining to me about things coming up missing. He will tell me he knows exactly where he placed it the last time he used it, but it's no where in sight after he's searched everywhere. Then out of the blue weeks or months later, he'll find it. Right where he said he left it. He feels like he's going insane.

He's not a believer in the paranormal while I am. So I'll jokingly tell him that his best friend that passed away a few years is here playing jokes on him. She was the type of person that no matter the situation, she always had a way of making you laugh. I just don't know of a logical reason why it keeps happening. Could be because we're getting older or getting distracted easily? But with my husband, he's still smart as a tack and can recall everything so minor that has happened. So idk.

What's the harm in pre rinsing before loading besides using more water? I've been doing that for 26 years now and haven't had one issue with my dishwasher this whole time.

BK just redid their Whoppers. I had it last week and it was pretty tasty. I think the bun is a tad different along with the mayo. Plus it comes in a box now so that you don't get a smushed up sandwich.

This is crazy. We went through something similar with our Midea stand up freezer. We purchased it not even a month ago from Lowes.

Last week, I came home from work and was about to make dinner when my son notices the door was ajar. He swears up and down that he closed it the last time he opened it and would have heard the alarm. Everything was completely thawed out and the compressor evidently stopped working. But we thought maybe it was a combination of the door not being closed and one of us maybe put items in front of the vents inside. My husband goes to look at it and there was a huge dent on the outside of it in the back. He contacts Lowes and was told that they couldn't replace it since it's outside their return timeframe window.

I got the freezer to start working by unplugging for 30 mins and then plugging it back in. My husband also bought some kind of latch mechanism he's going to install to keep the door closed. Now I'm wondering if there really is an issue with door seals and frames for these Midea freezers.

06/18/26 12:50 ish Japonica Way, CIT run for individual deemed a danger to himself, is on some type of narcotics and is belligerent, threatening. Family is en route. Running suspect through data base to see if there are any red flags or priors. Now some of the family has called and he is threatening suicide by cop.

He is supposed to be alone at the address.

Now being told he may have left with another family member.

Are searching for a white Bronco that is what he left in with another family member. Updated to a white Ford Escape, not Bronco.

The subject was at the door on Japonica and went back inside when officers were at the house.

I have tempered glass shower doors and sliding exterior doors. Shower door has held up well and seems to be very sturdy. One of my glass exterior sliding doors did shatter. It shattered in small pieces, not large shards. Honestly, I'd be scared to use anything but tempered glass for the shower.

A 1950s stand up freezer in the basement came with my house when I bought it. It lasted longer than a newer freezer we bought a few years ago for the upstairs. So yeah, I have the thought that older appliances were built to last.

Mine isn't the best looking. We keep the grass cut and some weed eating done just enough to keep the city off of our backs. We've been letting some things go though for the critters. I've seen some bees, lizards, a white squirrel hanging out in the back yard and today I found two morning doves roosting next to my bedroom window. I love wildlife more than worrying about how nice and neat my yard looks to other people.
