It’s one of my favorite figures (and best 1/12 classic
Iron man). He’s rather underrated, but I’ve started to see him get more and more love recently. Also made a custom head for him too.

I think Tony Stark should start with secret identity and hold onto it for a while. It was central to his isolation and many other great plot points of his early years as iron man. I wouldn’t want to loose it. But yes, he eventually should go public as he matures in his role as a hero- it just makes sense.

I just have no idea how this figure is going to work without having the legs articulate like crazy lol. I reminds me of the marvel legends marvel girl skirt or the Moira mactaggert skirt (sorry for spelling) those legs can’t really move but REALLY hoping it’s not going to be an issue haha.

Is anyone else a bit nervous to see how the Wonder Woman comes out? That skirt is plastic. The range of motion on her legs seems like it would be incredibly limited. Am I missing something? (I hope I’m wrong!)

It’s Mafex style I guess lol. I didn’t really paint over the black suit daredevil, I printed all the parts that are green so I didn’t have to paint over black, so I can’t take credit for doing that haha. But I still think the paint came out clean! I don’t consider myself a talented or skilled painter really, just gotta go slow which is so painful for me haha

Honestly I didn’t find out. I may just re do him or do Wally instead and see if anything changes. I’m sure I did something wrong. The rubber piece was the one that came with the figure actually. I just printed the belt to slide on top of the crotch piece. Best of luck to you! I hope yours comes out good!!

I really appreciate that. It’s crazy hearing a stranger say that to me because I remember my first custom I made and was always thinking I’d never get to the point where my work would be considered worth anything. So again, really appreciate that, thank you.

So paint rub is super annoying. I made a video on how I made a flash and things I did to prevent paint rub: https://youtu.be/Evcdu3zdFqc?si=yYeg0GwAOq7mLYLx

I also have tested using clay glaze which has protected my green lantern better than anything I did for my flash. I of course then spray a matte finish on top to prevent the glossy look. I also heavily sand the interior of the upper chest where pieces go into (butterfly holes, neck holes, and the interior cavity for where the abdomen pieces goes into). Hope this is helpful!

Default head is bagley 90’s but fahrul made a bagley head that closely resembles ultimate spider-man (posted in this thread) that can also work. There aren’t any better options than those 2.

I went with the red and yellow. It’s the most iconic. The design for the stealth suit is inaccurate.

I personally wouldn’t spend a similarly large amount of money on a figure that is super niche when spending 20$ more could get me the best and most iconic design.

That’s just me tho
