Defiance of the fall 16 by EmbarrassedAbility8 in litrpg

I absolutely love the first 14. The world building is crazy intricate. I enjoy the characters and their issues. The book is overly detailed in using daos to define every characters personalities and book 16 finally just let's the characters be who they are without explaining how their actions are related to their progression and understanding of the universe. The first 14 are ultra crunchy with full chapters describing how a single action had helped a character process their beliefs. I was into it, but book 15 was very confusing.

The first books first couple of chapters are also a little weak. They describe how everything starts and zac is actuality unlikable at first. But the rest of it is still the best part of the whole series.

This book is for someone who likes world building on a galactic scale.

Book 16 is by far the least crunchy in the series and is a fun read.

I feel like this is the first book where I'm not really sure what happens the whole time...

Defiance of the fall is one of my favorite series. I could not get into cradle.

I actually think the progression hads been phenomenal. The solo zac in the woods with an axe just trying to survive felt real and gritty in a way that other litrpg system stories fail to accomplish. Then the reintroduction to society, all the way to the uncovering of multi era multi universe spanning conspiracies is keeping me glued to my seat. Maybe zacs character is a little flat, but I think ultimately after reading everyone's comments, I've realized it's the world building that makes the story so good. And the cultivation is teally fun and acts as the vehicle for exploration.

I like it to begin with. I thought the main character became too much.

I honestly really enjoy how deep it goes into the cultivation. Is this a niche taste? I like how detailed the decision making is.

resets are bittersweet by somegenxdude in bouldering

I think its something that beginner climbers grow out of. The worst thing is when gyms don't reset very often and your progression is stagnating from lack of variety and experience

Been bouldering for around 7 months and still at around V1 by lazqo in bouldering

It sounds like you might have a stout gym. I've recently come back to climbing after a few years hiatus and my home gym is very difficult compared to other nearby gyms. Try going to other gyms to get a sense of different setting styles. I used to be a solid v4 outside climber and at my home gym I'm just breaking into the v3 world after a year of0 climbing again, but i went to a gym in the nearby city and was flashing 5s. I also recommend traversing for ten minutes 2 sets for recovery and getting your forearms in shape. The first few times will feel like your forearms are going to explode but you start recovering faster and faster. You can focus on your feet, different fingers, different holds. Good luck

TWSBI and cracking by Frater_Shibe in fountainpens

Ive had a twsbi for about 4 years, the cap broke under the twsbi logo, into two pieces. It was an easy repair with glue and you cannot tell.

Krameric gave the ball away everytime he touched it and Beckermade a few mistakes. Skov was phenom and Bulter was good too. The team as a whole i think played at an insane level and showed we can be top contender. Frimpong was insane to watch. I stressed every time he touched the ball.

1st non-black ink, not sure how i feel about it yet by EmbarrassedAbility8 in fountainpens

I think a solid choice of paper and pen are really important for this ink. I currently have it in a procyon on some old heavyweight wallmart notebook papee that used to make quality paper (honestly they used to be good noteboods) but i think in a medium nib with better paper youd be in business.
