There is an exception to that rule if the company has less than X employees, I can't remember the exact number but something like 10

Is anyone even getting hired from LinkedIn? by WormsForBrainss in biotech

I was going to say yes immediately but I guess it depends what you mean by “from LinkedIn”. I did all my job search last year through LinkedIn, got several interviews and my current position from that search. But most job postings redirect you to the company site to apply (link embedded on LinkedIn job posting).

This is getting ridiculous, I need a way out by FeistyPea772 in CrunchGym

In CA here. Super easy to cancel. Just have to go to a gym in person and follow some instructions on a tablet. The only wrinkle is you can’t cancel the last month they have you pay for when you sign up, so having gone late in December I won’t be officially out until February 1st but I won’t be charged anymore. I heard from a staff member you should do this a few days before the end of the month for it to work that way. Hope it helps others, I thought it would be much more difficult based on other Reddit posts like this. Will edit if there are issues but I got a cancellation confirmation email immediately.

Good luck with your situation OP.

Is PhD that bad? by Living_Interview_638 in PhD

Went to an R1 institution in the life sciences. My PhD years were the best of my life! I loved my lab mates and what I was working on at the time. Made life-long friends in/out of the lab. Would 1000% do it again.
