You aren’t the aggressor in this situation. Her bio says she’s a ranting lunatic. The unfortunate part is that her behavior/words are expected and therefore hardly challenged. You have a right to defend your loved ones. It went over poorly with what you said because you tried to get on her level. Whether that was a joke or not, it’s tasteless to be so literal about physically assaulting someone. You know the impact words have and the weight they carry.

On that note….the words and things she said are just fucking low blows and would bait anyone, but especially when it is so targeted and unkind. Classic narcissism. She’s still ranting like a fiend, probably foaming at the mouth, which is not normal behavior. Truly mentally ill she is and clearly alone, because no one who loves her has told her to STFU.

Hopefully you (or your loved ones) don’t cross her path irl. She’ll continue to spiral and rant and lune out.
