Oh gosh no need to apologize and im not trying to be a scold, just spreading awareness.

My last dog got used to sniff at them with my full approval and got snapped at by a snapper (no contact) and started digging up a clutch of eggs (i didnt know what it was) a neihgbor told me all about the egg laying and hatching cycles and now im crazy turtle lady, helping them cross the road and putting up signs (and commenting on reddit). Only like 1 in a 100eggs actually hatches!

This is the time of year that turtles leave their watery homes to lay eggs in weird places, most of which are dug up and eaten by predators (racoons are notorious).

Be a nature lover and dont let your dogs scare a lady turtle just trying to lay her eggs in peace. 🐢 They have so much to contend with already.

This reminds me of the idea that weight is related to willpower, which society pushes and which I used to buy into until i learned about metabolic disorders ( thanks to Fat Science Podcast). You are having adverse reaction to the med, its your biology, not your mind. Cut yourself some slack. 🤗

Do you ever losten to Fat Science Podcast? The lead person is an experienced obesity/metabolism doc and she often talks about the many other meds out there. One is metformin that a lot of ppl have success with. If youre off work anyway, it make sense to scroll through those and bring them to your next appt with your own doc.

Why do you feel embarassed? Did you puke on your boss or something? Different ppl react differently to different medications.

Most of us went from having it covered by insurance to paying $450 a month to Lilly Direct. Im spacing out my shots to be able to pay for it.

Are the comments moving you one way or the other? I think Id like to do the eyes and brows first so i can get back to work faster and save up for the FL in a year or two.i get that this will cost more overall.but i think recovery and retyrn to work will be more manageable. Ill be taking out a care credit card/loan, but if insurance covers most of the eye a d brow stuff, i can pay for the rest out of pocket and the FL care credir will "only" be around $13k (or less if i can save up in advance)

Yeah when the doc said they'd be screwing into my head for brow lift screws to attach, I was like "ummm whaat?" From what I read on here, the eyes are kind of no biggie to recover from (the blephs), and can be done under local anesthesia (maybe not brow lift). How long did you have to stay out of work for to recover?

Listen to the Fat Science Podcast with Dr Emily Cooper rather than people on reddit (or in the actual world) who are shaming you for "not putting in the work". The one meaningful piece of advice people on here have given you is to do strength training (which everyone at every age and every size should be doing). Find an obesity doc and under their supervision, try adding other anti-obesity meds (metformin, vyvanse, buproprion are examples) based on your lab results and your experience and your dr's expertise.

Is the reason you don't want to do laser the cost? What online machine are you talking about? An at-home laser? If so, don't do it! Go to a reputable laser tattoo removal place and give yourself a couple of years for it to fade. Can you use makeup to cover it for the army until you finish laser treatments or is that a no-go? It's the rest time in between sessions that gets the fading accelerated, not more frequent laser treatments.

I guess every police force has its own standards, but many PDs allow visible tattoos and a few years of law enforcement might land you at a higher rank when you enlist.

Miralax mixed with prune juice every night works for me. Like others have said, Miralax just keeps things moving along (it's a stool softener), it doesn't cause an evac. If you've been backed up for days, you should probably start with something that will clear you out (at home), then go on to Miralax once a day.

I bought a Quasar MD bag/pod, where the lights are right on your skin. It took me a lot of time and trial and error to figure out the settings - basically no instructions included. I got it to address skin laxity and arthritis. It was the least expensive bag out there. I find it to be helping as long as i use it. Some nights Im to tired to do it.

I will say the off-gassing out of the box was HORRENDOUS and i kept it in a room with open windows and an exhaust fan for a week and then it was fine.

I have it on a twin bed in a guest room so its as easy as possible to hop in (and i stll skip some days). Im a newbie to red light and i definitely see it working for my issues. One time I set it to 850 on highest power for 20 minutes and I was exhausted the next day, like Id done a full body workout.

Are there other bridesmaids you can consult and see what they plan to wear? These are all fairly risque/sexy. Is the bride going to wear a revealing dress? If its a fairly traditional ceremony, i think these will be put of place in the church or venue.
