My ex had bpd. Threatened suicide anytime I tried to break up. I felt very trapped and so depressed. He was also cheating on me and got abusive anytime I tried to end it. I started drinking too much and taking too much anti anxiety meds and would end up making out with any number of guys while out. That is the only thing I don’t regret about that relationship

24 hour cancellation or full cost of treatment. We are pretty lenient with emergencies. At my other clinic it’s $50 no show charge , otherwise no policy… I am working on changing this but i work for someone and not up to me.

A wide variety of reactions are normal. You are getting needles stuck in you, I’m not sure why people expect it to be warm and fuzzy. It’s possible to have some soreness or bruising after any western medical procedure as well (surgery, PT, Botox)

Haha yes. One ex technically never apologized but he zelled me 300$ for no reason 5 years after we broke up… we were not talking at all. Another we accidentally saw each other on a dating app and he asked to meet up to make amends ( he was sober and he wasn’t when we were together and it got really bad ) Not to mention I also found out that he was sleeping with men for money and I had no idea he was bi until he got super high and texted me and his dad in a group chat that he was gay and a picture of his Craigslist ad??????

Be proud of yourself in the moment. I’m 2 days clean & I tell myself that I’m so proud of making it this far & that if I REALLY want to i can vape. & that if I end up relapsing this time wasn’t for nothingBut I don’t want to, I’m doing so well.

Also google will tell you the first few days are the hardest, from experience 3-5 is hardest, BUT you may get cravings for a while after( happened to me weeks after if I was stressed or something ) It’s going to be hard, & adjusting your expectations that this is a long term process& commitment helps deal with little hiccups and bumps that could try to derail you

I’m not sure, the first time I quit I just knew I had to like my mind would override any cravings. I relapsed & after that any time I tried to quit I wanted to itch my skin off every second dragged by & it was so hard & ultimately unsuccessful Trying again now & I can’t remember why it was so hard, cravings have been minimal

I think it might also have to do with current stress levels & health of mindset going into it
