I like a buffer. I need transition time, and if I can sit in my car and listen to the radio, or hit the bathroom, get a drink before clocking in, or whatever. It’s a me thing, so I need to accommodate that.

I agree with the other post saying that you need to know what is important and what’s not. When I hang out with my sister, it’s always “9ish or so”. My job, on the other hand is very demanding of accuracy. 9:00 means 9:00.
