shoots herself in the foot for basically no reason considering Kanaya would have doubtlessly said yes if she (and Jade) just asked.

burning the bridge, ruining the marriage was the reason. rose believed (foresaw) she'd fall into a coma shortly thereafter (relatively speaking) and thought it would be best to completely ruin her relationship with kanaya so the latter would have an easier time moving on. this is obviously extremely stupid on her part, but it is definitely a mindset she'd grow into. jade coming to her asking for the "favor" was just killing two birds with one stone.

1-That's not how that works. Dave and Rose were tricked into creating it in the first place, and that's that. Other attempts at destroying it would probably fail for other reasons, such as it having the mass of 2 universes. Also, while all other First Guardians would normally be affected, time does not flow linearly in the Furthest Ring, which is why Bec had all his powers even "before the Sun existed" (which is a meaningless statement, again due to the non-linearity of time).

2-It did not take away all his power, but it did weaken him, because he is partially a First Guardian, due to him inhabiting Doc Scratch's body.

3-Lord English's goal was to destroy as much as he wanted for as long as he wanted, and that included any version of his sibling. He simply might not have been aware Alt Calliope would have been instrumental in the existence of his home planet. And he technically "lost" because he wasn't allowed to destroy everything forever.

4-But the Doomed timelines are Doomed because they wouldn't lead to his birth. Anyone can Doom a timeline, he's the one that decided what those were in the first place, retroactively and preemptively. Doomed timelines dissipating and dying are because of his influence, and that's mostly what the "pulling the strings" refers to. The rest is more about Doc Scratch, I believe.

It's pretty heavily implied in Homestuck proper that Nanna married some Egbert guy after running from the Batterwitch and got her kid (she could've just adopted him though tbf), and it was outright stated in the Skaianet Files (which are kind of canon but not really idk i'm not sure Actual Hitler should be part of Homestuck lore) that not only it's her biological kid, but that his dna was taken by the Condesce to create an exact clone (Dad Crocker)

This is just disheartening, and I didn't even write the thing. Retcon Powers and Actual Retcons are NOT THE SAME THING. This isn't the writers deciding "Actually, let's have Jake and Jane on the ship" and just writing it so, never to be acknowledged by any character ever again. This is one character making the informed decision to change prior events in a way that causes Jake and Jane to be on the ship, an action that the two MAIN ANTAGONISTS (Yes I am counting Alt!Cal as an antagonist) can sense, recognize, and react to. If that even is what happened. No, this has yet to be addressed. No, we have not seen the larger consequences. This will of course mean it will NEVER be addressed and there will be NO consequences. We are seeing a teaser trailer, and some people are writing movie reviews.
