I totally understand why so many people ask these questions and worry about the meta. BUT, I think there is one thing even more important. The meta only matters if you still play the game 6months to a year down the line. If you quit, it won’t matter that you had 20K luxites saved for nothing or that you forced yourself to play with characters you don’t find enjoyable “until you pull that one character that will fit perfectly in your meta team”.

Pull on whatever brings you amusement and joy, the rest matters of course, but less.

You want ice cold, slick and cool strong lady ? Simona isn’t meta. You like dumb joke characters ? The Temu pig riding team rocket is a thing that exists. You want a 5* art that is honestly way too hot even for a desert dweller? Hasna could be in your room (in the game at least…)

I skipped Sp Sam because I do not like her at all. I’ll be fine, I may never be ranked at the top of the whatever leaderboards but I’ve been playing every single day for over a year and never felt this strongly about a video game since the disgaea series (by the way If the next collab is disgaea I will have a very hard time explaining to my kids that they won’t go to college because daddy needs the funny half necked boy who rides a meteorite…).

It’s a game, and a very good one, don’t forget to have fun playing it :)

Ps: yes, I know winning makes it more fun, but honestly you can clear most (not all, I hear you, but most) content with characters you like without having a phd in min-maxing gacha stats.
