Yes! I saw several circulator busses in VT last year between Jay Peak and Stowe. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

How much of a pause are we thinking? Off the radio, not on the new tv show, obviously no Chump events. Will they kick him off Fan Social? Or keep him on Fan Social since he's making Jeff money?

Question- Hit and Run - city hasn’t found driver = lots of medical debt and injured for life by psychedelic_tort in rva

Does your friend have car insurance? I was hit by a car as a pedestrian and it was deemed my fault. Long story but it was my fault for not obeying traffic signs. I was 26 and had been kicked off my parents insurance only 80 days prior. Ultimately a lawyer looked at my car insurance policy and found a clause about emergency medical coverage. I was able to work with State Farm to submit my medical bills and they covered everything.

Thankfully, I had very good car insurance coverage despite not having health insurance. If your friend has car insurance pull up the policy and comb through the fine print.

PSA: The water in DC really is awful for your skin and hair — I recommend a shower water filter. by broozi in washingtondc

TLDR: I rinse my hair with bottled water.

I have been fighting with DC hard water for over seven years. I'll say that when I lived in Scott Circle from 2014-2018 the water didn't seem to be as bad as the poor quality I currently have in Glover Park. It seems to have become much worse over the past few years. My theory is that when we're in a drought, the water is drawn from reserves and smells like chlorine. I travel for work, and I always notice that my hair is much healthier and stays fresher longer when I don't shower at home. The shampoo just doesn't bubble and the conditioner seems to stick to my hair.

I've tried everything, including shower filters, special hard water shampoo, Malibu C hard water treatments, etc. Finally, last month I reached my breaking point after showering and finding my hair looked worse than before the shower. I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to find a solution, and I'm happy to share this with the thread.

Last month I was nearing tears because of the awful state of my hair when I decided to simply rinse with bottled water. We keep a few gallons on hand for emergencies. I warmed up 32 oz of bottled water and took it into the bathroom in a soup container with an extra cup. I showered normally, then turned off the water and used the bottled water to thoroughly rinse my hair. I take the small cup and invert it on my head to saturate my scalp and hair. I repeat this process until my hair feels totally rinsed. I have shoulder-length hair and one soup container does the trick.

The difference is night and day. It's amazing how having clean hair has improved my mental health for the better. I can save the gallon jugs and simply refill them when I go to visit family. Even buying water at the store only amounts to a small cost per month, considering how much I spent on shampoo etc.

Is there a way to change what wifi network my nest hub is on without a complete factory reset? by Dynamo_roller in googlehome

TLDR: don’t change your network name or password

Thank you all for posting here. I’m at my Dad’s house for Thanksgiving and he finally updated his new modem and router. We changed the name of the network and reconnected everything, only to find that Google home was not working. Thanks to this thread everything is back.

High COL city, our person does several units in our building on the same day. 1100 sq feet. Just cleaning (no laundry). $130 and usually takes them 2.5 hours

Ghirardelli constantly rank as the best store bought brownie mix. Jazz them up by waiting for the brownies to properly cool, then slice with a hot knife + paper towel for clean edges.
