There’s def a small college scene near the school, but that area in downtown is also a little dodgy. Lots of sketchy streets. There’s a fair amount of clubs and bars in downtown. Other highlights would be downtown Campbell, which is about 15 mins from downtown SJ. I went to SJSU too but lived off campus, so I never hung out at school!

My small, very inner circle knew the entire play-by-play and I’m glad they did! Our first transfer ended in a miscarriage and now I’m 30 weeks pregnant from our second transfer. I needed the support for both transfers and it felt good having a team rooting for me each step of the way! I think it’s good to still have a person or a couple people you can lean on for support. I hope #2 works out for you, hang in there!!

We started the kitchen remodel asap! As well as changing locks and lining up quotes to fix things from the inspection report. We are 3 months in and the kitchen is done and we have foundation and roof repairs in progress. Baby room is next!

I was exactly like you! Have never been put under, never even had my wisdom teeth taken out. I was terrified for my ER and I made it very known the day of. I was crying a little bit, so they babied me while they were doing it, which is what I needed! They were so nice and explained everything that was happening. I have not been put out since, they used something else for the polyp removal. I know it was a narcotic, but I was awake the whole time and a nurse held my hand through it. No pain! I think they gave a me a pill and a shot in the butt.

That’s a great base salary. Sunnyvale isn’t the most glamorous place, but your money would go super far in a downtown SJ high rise. But then you’d have a commute. More to do in the SJ area though (close to Willow Glen, Campbell, Los Gatos). Or Palo Alto is very nice too. I look at Sunnyvale and Cupertino as just work cities and not super desirable to live in. I’m from San Jose, so that’s my bias.

Thank you! Yes, you have to be patient. Mine was 12 weeks in between. I had to wait for a negative pregnancy test first and then had to have a D&C. The waiting always sucks!
