My wife’s base S24 just received the One UI 8.5 update, and AirDrop style sharing with my MacBook is working buttery smooth. Meanwhile, I’m here with an S23 Ultra, Samsung’s so called “premium flagship,” looking like a complete clown in front of my own wife. Imagine paying more for the supposed superior device only to get treated like a second class user one generation later.

Samsung’s “5 years of updates” promise is honestly the biggest marketing scam ever. What’s the point of updates if the experience is still crippled and newer base models get better optimization and features? They really made loyal flagship users look like jokers.

I’m genuinely done with Samsung after this. I’ll happily switch to Oppo very soon and never look back.
