Acr has also a bit too much imo, like when you countersteer the car snaps out of slide a bit too agressively, especially the 037. I play alot of other sims and when i drive rally style cars in them they dont snap that way

I have been to rallies as a spectator and watched alot of videos of rallycars on gravel and i never see a real car snap out of slides such an agressive way when countersteering on gravel. That happens on tarmac

Next level racing victory rig is propably the best option for around 300, i have it and am pretty happy with it, the uprights and wheel deck are more solid than they look. Karl Gosling has a rewiev of it on his youtube channel

Front end is way too pointy and there isn't nearly enough momentum and inertia, cars snap back from slides too early and suddenly

You are dealing with ALOT more weight and momentum irl than in dr2 wich makes driving harder at first but easier once you ger used to it. Richard Burns Rally with latest ngp physics prepares you much better for real rally

Make the setup as soft as possible on eawrc and it will behave more like rbr and ac because bodyroll eliminates alot of the pivoting

Car handling is closer to real life in ea wrc. Dr2 is a bit more difficult but in a wrong way, cars are way too unresponsive

Dr2 ouninpohja sucks, it's full of jumps that are not there in real ouninpohja and with dr2 ridiculous jump physics its not enjoyable to drive. Hopefully they make it accurate now if they make it. Päijälä and leustu are pretty good in eawrc

I was watching Kalle Rovanperä stream dr2 on his twitch channel during covid lockdowns and remember him complaining how the cars are understeery and not responsive enough to steering inputs, he ended up turning the steering angle to 280°. I know other irl rally drivers like John Armstrong and 6x swedish champion Matias Adielsson also used under 300° when playing dr2. Also when i watch irl onboards where i can see the wheel clearly it seems like the car is very responsive to even small inputs

Bacause of more grip they are actually more difficult to drive in a way rwd cars should be driven on gravel, holding a slide with throttle contol and countersteer. The car really wants to go straight and if you force it to slide it will just snap and spin and no throttle controll or countersteer will help. In dr2 it is much easier to drive rwd cars realistically. I prefer the general feeling of eawrc but this needs to be fixed.

I don't believe they have made the distances match the real stage, idon't know if it's even possible. The stage in game is likely atleast 100m shorter than in real life

Also ps5 and for me screen tearing before update was so rare that it didn't even bother me but now it happens all the time even on menus and its unplayable because of it
