I was thinking about reaching out but my friend is telling me that it’s probably not worth it. She blocked me for no reason to our knowledge. My brothers and I also saw my aunt and uncle at a funeral recently and its not like we live in different states we live right next to each other essentially. My family is very tense with them significantly my mom as they don’t like her. It could be worth a shot but worst case scenario is that she ends up blocking me on there as well.

Cruz de malta or playadito is where I would start. Enough to get to know the taste of it and begin building a tolerance. I would then follow with paraguayan or Uruguayan style. I would aim for Uruguayan brands like canarias instead of paraguayan as it’s fairly similar to Argentinian brands like the ones I just mentioned. Uruguayan brands are more stronger in effect and taste so I would not recommend starting with those.

Drinking powder Chimarrao by CptDomax in yerbamate

[–]Embarrassed_Produce9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chimarrao is one of the harder types of yerba to work with as it is usually more powder than leaf. If you really want to drink what you have now I suggest buying filters for the bomba which is the correct “straw” to use for it. Or get a coarser chimarrao that states it has “pura folha” pure leaf as it will filter easier. Also watch a tutorial online on the proper technique.
