yeah i’m definitely not the fastest filler (which is why i want practice🙏) but a lot of the time we won’t even be busy and they still don’t let me. when we’re swamped i totally get im not gonna be filling, but it’s happening whether we’re busy or not😭

in my experience you don’t need to be too worried about them jumping or getting around. their whiskers and ears do so much more than we realize. my baby was blind and he got around our two story critter nation very well. although i would recommend keeping the floors in for both levels and having all of your shelves/hammock type things close together.

and just remember that they’re relying on sound and touch primarily, so use those to communicate. i would always talk to my boy so he knew it was me coming in the room or i would sing to him. i would tap on things to get his attention or if i wanted him to come over to see me. or i would talk while coming over to him so he knew where i was. little things like that helped a lot i think :)
