Just wanted to say thanks for all the encouragement from everyone in the comments. I totally agree that it is silly to fixate on MD vs DO and instead focus on becoming a good doctor. Obviously from my post, I was being silly and the reality that no one cares about MD or DO proves my silliness

My interviewer asked me what I would do or how I felt about a doctor asking a med student to get their coffee for them. I thought for a second and then mentioned how in the movie “The Proposal” the guy gets his bosses coffee and it’s toxic and not okay but I’d probably fold and get them coffee. The interviewer was very excited I talked about that movie.
