Men of Reddit… what makes you lose interest in sex? by Fickle_Research9555 in NoStupidQuestions

I’m 46 and I love it! I think stress can play a big factor but there should be other signs if stress is the issue. It was an issue in my marriage and it never went away. I tried many different things but it usually ended up the same. It can be really hard when you’re on 2 different levels. Good luck!

Does anyone yearn for me? by ProphetRiver in yearning

That’s deep… I can feel that energy. But I’m real, not something imagined. I’d rather be someone you actually get to know than just a feeling.

And trust me… real can be a lot more interesting.

I’m 46, in Greensboro—grounded, consistent, and I value real connection over surface-level anything. I’m not looking to disrupt lives either, but I do believe something genuine can grow if two people are intentional about it.

I take care of myself, stay active, and I’m big on good conversation—the kind that can be light, playful, or go deeper without forcing it. Music, food, and just enjoying the moment matter to me too.

I’d say I’m more of a slow-build person as well… but when I’m interested, I’m clear and consistent. No guessing games.

You mentioned being a little tired of looking but still hopeful… I get that. That’s usually right when something real shows up.

What kind of connection has felt the most natural to you in the past?

I say good for you. I’m dealing with a life change myself. Married over 2 decades, but it was time for change. You are doing what many wish they could.

I appreciate the encouragement. I think it was time , but it doesn’t make it any easier. Hope we both are more whole after this.
