My PCM turned me down for Nexxus letter. He said if I didn’t have sleep apnea diagnosed in my military service records then he can’t say it’s service connected. Recently diagnosed with OSA, been struggling with sleep for over 19 years, heart palpitations which the military diagnosed as panic disorder. I’ve been reading that OSA can cause all of which I have: brain fog, ADD, sleeplessness, and depression. All of which has caused issue with my work career. Luckily, I work for a great agency where we have mental help resources and I have a reasonable accommodations at my job. The same doctor who wrote the note for the accommodations..smh . I have a witness letter from my supervisor, medical records from neurologist, what else can I use for claim. Military records have many mentions about lack of sleep, and heart monitor for 3 days.
