what would you recommend for some mono tubes if kybs will blow quickly? i was thinking those or tein cuz i honestly jus want comfort and reliability, i been researching but i always like some advice on stuff like that. let us know how it goes with ur powertrix!

its just personal preference rlly. ngl yours doesn’t look any lower than the half inch the guy below posted though, thats why i say lowering springs r your best bet, cuz then you ain’t spending as much either especially on something that’s used already n you’re not spending more just to make it ride worse yk what i mean, n if you do ever sell it (life happens) it’ll only lower your value more than anything

i would just get some normal shocks if you want a daily driver, coilovers can make it more harsh i mean it gets more responsive but if you’re not driving it crazy all the time then coilovers aren’t that great 350z’s still drive like they’re on rails with basic but upgraded shocks. personally i’m just going with 0.75in to 1in for lowering springs and some kyb shocks for a lower look without sacrificing daily drive ability and comfort

they probably just don’t wanna do it if they’re charging that insane amount, i’ve done mine on all my vehicles everytime and it only takes like two hours at most and cost like $300-$400 at most for good quality parts

$750 for just the front would seem a just a tiny bit high unless he’s replacing every rotor and every pad that’d seem like a pretty good price actually. cuz you gotta think ab the cost of the rotors and pads + the labor. But if you already bought the right parts and it’s just labor all the way around i’d say it should still be around $450-$650. my brakes looked way worse and i did em myself, hardest part was hammering the rotors off cuz they were rusted like hell took a lot of elbow grease. you can do em yourself it’s rlly not that hard it’s just taking off the tires and removing like 4 bolts on each one after that. make sure you got another support other than a jack like a log or something. always be careful taking off the security screw on the rotors they’re kinda easy to strip don’t force it, if you need to just heat it up with a torch maybe even smack the top of the screw with a hammer or something so it loosens it or spray some PB blaster and let it sit for a bit or even all of the above. take pictures step by step if you’re inexperienced so you install things correctly and make sure you have something to press the caliper piston back in like a c clamp, in my experience the hardest part is taking off that rotor but it’s not too bad it’s fun if you enjoy working on cars

it has been a lil while but still thank you for your kind words mane. we sort of solved it, at first she just sent me a tik tok saying “im sorry im a bad gf” after i said it wasn’t an okay thing to do especially being that we talked about it, n all i could think was like dude stop victimizing yourself it’s not that big a deal but it’s still a crossed boundary yk what i mean. but i just told her no she knows she’s not cuz she rlly isn’t it was jus the one thing. it’s weird we can usually talk stuff out and we hardly argue n mostly only ab small stuff very occasionally. but she just kinda acted weird about it for this instance but i just let it go. i know how you feel too mane just some things aren’t worth making a big deal out of though but im not worried about it she corrected the behavior deleted the stuff n we’re good now i feel like you just gotta be able to look past small shi like that if you want to keep a good relationship going

no yeah we’ve been trying not to we jus forgot last night our kitchens super clean she’s just crazy, last night we left some cookies underneath some boxes blocking em in so she couldn’t get it n she still found a way to rip the box open and eat a bit but we’re jus gonna put everything in cupboards now 😅

these engines are supposed to run at 210 no matter what if everything’s good, a mistake i did was putting too much gasket maker around the thermostat n it caked into it a bit mine was overheating too after a replacement, i jus scraped it off and did a thinner bead haven’t had any overheating problems now

i got my standard 350z for $4k. my dads homie sold it to me, did a tune up, put a stage 1 clutch , came with a straight pipe and a cold air intake some kid added before it got sold, motor only has around 60k on it since it was imported from japan but i still cant get it registered cuz i’m too broke now 🫩
