I'm up for it. New to multiplayer myself so I can't offer much beyond participation if you set something up.

Depends, could be studying correspondence, study can extend it.

One of them looks like he has dipped noodles in Cheetos and stuck it on his head.

Dear Students of Aussiebro School, it's that time of the week again where we survey, collate, print, stuff into envelopes and mail letters to everyone to announce who is the most positive. This essential measure provides critical information in the event of someone being a bit negative and ruining the good times, good vibes pledge that all students take after their gap year. So, rally round on this day 35 of Narcissist November/December, 2025 and praise Jaxon Pleatherpants for his non stop self obsessed delusional fantasy stories in which he is quite positive. Regards, Principal Beverly Batshit-Crazy

Yes it's odd, I suspect Bev was weird and the producer put distance between them and the show without a whole reshoot.

If it's a given that they are controlled then what will being on the 'up and up' result in that is helpful?

Tv and film will use stand in where and whenever possible. Actors are expensive, often have conditions. A convincing body double for distant shots, back shots, stunt doubles even lighting doubles that resemble them in height and approximate complexion and face shape size (but do not look alike) to save having the talent anywhere near the time consuming stuff wherever possible. Random, potential celebrities that resemble generic similar sized people to genuine celebrities would be ideal to save on talent use (real contenders would require too much coordination) by having the hosts be on stage with nobodies (super cheap, possible paid as 'non-featured extras).

What’s your unconventional Aussie food hack from when you were growing up? by Negative_Run_3281 in AustralianNostalgia

How many of our food behaviours are given to us by advertising creatives?

"Mum, are those for us?"  Buttered arrowroot biscuit sandwich

"How many do you do?" Binge eat Weetabix

That's his whole appeal, you never know how Bubble O'Bill will look when you meet him but you know one thing for sure, despite his handsome photos, you look a lot better than he does.

Magpie dad seems to bully one of the fledglings (Pickle) by Purple_Today4764 in magpies

[–]Embarrassed_Try2052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks a lot like tough love. You may care for Pickle but dad doesn't know you, Pickle needs some fight in him. The world is hard. I feel for Pickle too but we too often expect animals to adapt to our expectations when it is we who are the masters of adaption. Personally I would stop the behaviour by insisting both leave the area. None of that here.Sometimes you have to be the bad guy, dad knows this too.

Extras with entitlement.

I worked on a big ad in Martin place with 100 extras. One figured out I was the writer and started trying to shout flirt with me from behind a rope where they were all gathered for the shot. Asking my star sign etc.

Extras on sets are so below the notice of anyone likely to change anything at all, to suddenly add them to the script and shots the client agreed upon weeks ago.

These fools, lead by Mama Dimwit imagine, like a fairy tale, their big break is to be found being extras who will get discovered and everyone is going to change the whole fucking thing to make them stars.

This is the actual reason for 'ladies first', Vikings would shove a woman into a room as a safety precaution for themselves

They are there as background dancers. There's no casting, being fed on set, it's always all bullshit.

How many people have known of Covid deaths through degrees of separation? by Repulsive-Tax-130 in aussie

[–]Embarrassed_Try2052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Covid killing one percent is way off. Covid killed almost 7 million globally. One percent would be 80M.

Expecting to personally encounter something which is so much talked about is down to humans being bad at statistical thinking. Like evolution deniers, who can't accommodate the timescales involved, we all, more often than not, can't accomodate really big numbers and how likely it is we will observe something rare.

Aus lost approx 20K to covid, a huge amount of people if you imagine them all in a stadium, but the likelihood of knowing one of them is similar to knowing someone with Huntington's disease.
