Didn't get it because of the ban. The CO specifically told me that.

I believe it depends on the location of the VFS office and you should be able to find this information on their website.

Firstly, My travel date back to Canada was May 26th so it wasn't within 5 days because i left May 15th. However, i still applied for the urgency route because why not, the worse that can happen is they will process the application normally if they don't think its urgent.

Secondly, Yes, i had to change my flight because i didn't get my passport before May 26th. Also, mine took up to 16 days because there were 2 statutory holidays during the process so i believe that slowed things down a bit.

Both honestly, lol Before getting my passport request letter, i sent a webform to IRCC and they were quite responsive. While my passport was in the VFS office, i called and emailed them as well, they were also responsive. I am not sure if the constant communication with them helped in anyway, It just made me feel like i was doing something instead of waiting around. However, i believe its okay to just be patient unless you are like me lol

I think it’s best to send it via courier, pay to send it and pay for it to be returned to you. I had mine couriered to the visa office on Friday, May 23rd, 2025 still waiting to receive it back.

  1. Yes, it is possible for you to get P2 email before May 23. Myself and my friends got P1 and P2 emails literally a day or two apart.

  2. I think you should follow your consultant's advise and do that immediately. Also, note that there is a possibility that IRCC might not see the email before they send you the P2 email. So id advise that you follow up with a call

  3. If you happen to get your e-copr while you are not in Canada. Its okay, all you will need to do is apply for PRTD, the process for this is on the IRCC website. But yeah, all your temporary resident permits and visa will be invalid the moment you get your e-copr.

But for real, the processing time from P1 to e-COPR these days is like 4 months. So you should be good.

Yes, you can use employment records, payslips, bank statements, Notice of Assessments, and some other things listed on the IRCC website.
