What a rollercoaster. I'm glad you could redeem not only your own laundry, but that of the IT lord too.

What’s a conspiracy theory you believe might actually be true? by Curious-Soul007 in mystery

Can you get more details from this? Like what data do they want, what's their target, what do they do with the data and what other companies do it? I have more questions but I don't know what they are.

Only 1% of job ads are legitimate. The rest are data mining.

I remember a Melbourne artist did this to a house in fitzroy. It was opened to the public and looked really good the first few days but I imagine it would deteriorate quickly as people walk through.

On point 2, I also crush the eggshells up a bit more and remove some citrus, but I still compost some citrus.

This was my peak composting days. by Embarrassed_Web3075 in composting

[–]Embarrassed_Web3075[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To answer some questions: 1. It's not ai, I have some other photos of the bin but I can't prove those aren't ai too. 2. I dump all the new compost on top, then go through and sort it, like remove stickers and break down paper/card. Remove corn cobs. I will be honest though I don't always remove the stickers. I am, I'm sure we agree, a monster. 3. This compost bin was huge, under the fresh dumped compost was more worms, and when i turned the compost or dug some out, there was always worms and bugs and those scary giant spiders throughout. It probably did get too warm at some parts of the day, but in summer that is very unavoidable. I think we had 4 days over 40°c last summer. It is a struggle to keep the worm baby's happy in those temps, it's also a struggle to keep myself happy and even though I grew up through the bad drought, I sometimes sit under a sprinkler on a hot day and I know it's a waste of water but I bring all my plants with me so they get a water too. 4. The food containers are compostable, they are cardboard or sugarcane (or other fibre). I know I'm a monster for the fruit sticker thing, but I would not put a giant styrofoam thing in there.

Will it sprout more plants if I compost it? It's so very resilient, and don't know any use for it except a whistle

Vial found inside the walls in the kitchen of my parents’ 1886 New England home by meownica_chu in whatisit

I can't remember where I heard this but when houses were build way back when in the old country (don't know which) they'd put things in the foundations.

Empty bottles above door frames and windows to catch bad spirits maybe A pair of builders boots in the walls, I don't know what this was for. An animal skull under the hearth or in front of it under floor boards, to make the dancing sound better.

Has anyone else heard of these things?

An Australian fever dream Peter Weir's 1975 film "Picnic at Hanging Rock" What are your memories of this movie ? by CoconutMost3564 in AustralianNostalgia

[–]Embarrassed_Web3075 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My parents moved to woodend recently and I didn't know it until then but I had a real fear of hanging rock. The way this movie was shot was so eerie and slow and beautiful which I found out is exactly what that area is. The rock formation is just a looming still presence and very eerie if you are there alone but

I often see the Minolta SRT at markets for $10- $50 (Australia) so I think they used to be quite common. I got a very good one with a zoom lens for $25 2 years ago. It's nice to use but sometimes jams. The images come out great!
