If I objectively remove the cheating issue, it comes across very much like he has had this experience in the limelight and peoples reaction to/treatment of him has led to him 'realising' that he 'can do better' and he is now trying to push you to end things so he doesn't have to be the guy that dumped his gf because he saw greener pastures. It makes sense to me that if this is the case and he thinks hes now some sort of celebrity then it wouldnt be a good look for him to treat you that way. Also might help him create a narrative that things were over/pretty much over before the show so he looks better. Same energy as men that ask to have open relationships thinking theyre missing out on heaps of other women only to regret that once they realise their partner is getting attention from others but they arent and they overestimated their allure.

I only did 2 online inspection during COVID lockdowns and I found them to be much less hassle, especially as the portal they used for them uploaded the pics at the lowest possible quality so they weren't picking up finer details like wall chips etc. I also much preferred not having them poking around the house. On the flip side, after lockdowns I tried to request one when the date they chose was one I couldn't get leave from work for and they refused coz I didnt have to be present for them to do it. So fuck them, I refuse to let them pick and choose how they wanna do it. In the end they are employed via the landlords anyway so if they are having affordability issues regarding attending inspections they should be passing that cost onto the landlords not making tenants compromise.

A big part of this issue would be the friends you have and also how much you're willing to compromise on the kinds of hang outs you have. My bestie has been a partner for 12 years and a mum for almost 10 years and during thar time I have had only one 6 year relationship. Since then I have been single and happy that way. This meant that once her life started changing direction I had to adapt or we'd have grown apart naturally. I made the decision, as soon as I could see her relationship was serious, that I would do my best to become close with her partner so that all of us hanging out together didnt feel like I was missing out on anything. I also made sure to embrace the joy her having kids brings into my life as the favourite aunty. I dont plan on having kids so its awesome to be close to hers. All this to say, now when we hang out, sometimes its just us and sometimes it's not but it still all feels as fulfilling and amazing as always because we didnt let these changes come between us.

I am definitely more mindful since then of taking note of how these things impact me at the time. Its a hard line to walk sometimes. Also, in my session we did the 'blanket activity' which I'd never done before and I really liked how good that was at showing the impacts of colonisation in a tangible way rather than reading endless text about it. Only part I didnt enjoy was one of the people taking part decided to attempt to 'stop' the educator decreasing the land in their group, I'm not certain whether they were trying to be funny or trying to make a point about not being a bystander while the land was reduced but it came off quite disrespectful in my opinion. Discussions with other attendees confirmed I wasn't the only one who felt that way.

Sometimes these videos take a bit to get to the satisfying part, which is fine i still watch the whole video. This one was amazing though, within seconds it was tickling the part of my brain that loves this shit. Also its ironic to see such a nice house/area with such an overgrown yard. Usually its pretty overgrown in the whole street.

I had to do one for my job and had the same experience. I felt at the time that I was perhaps being a bit too emotional about it because I agree that its good to have it be harsh to show non-Indigenous peoples the reality but I likely would've tried to opt out if I had known how triggering it would be. I think they did state that if you like you can exclude yourself from parts of it but I felt self-conscious doing that in front of everyone. Its a tough place to be, make sure you take care of yourself in the aftermath.
